About the All Veterans Memorial
The All Veterans Memorial is a unique, living
memorial which has become representative of a state-wide
effort demonstrating the great American principle of
Unity of the People. It will be constructed in Mount
Olive, New Jersey in 2007, and will honor ALL who
proudly served in the United States Military during both
war and peacetime. It will provide visitors with a
solemn place to reflect, a place which shall include a
regal ceremonial ground, a uniquely designed flag
burning vault, an educational preamble stage,
commemorative time-capsules, and a new home for the
Veterans Memorial Monument. Together, these elements
denote the All Veterans Memorial as the second of
its kind in the nation.

Memorial Pavers
The memorial’s formal ceremonial ground will be
comprised of 4” x 8” engraved pavers displaying the
names, rank, military branch, and war / peacetime of any
brave man / woman who proudly served in the United
States Military.
Each paver will accommodate 3 lines of type, 20
characters per line and cost $25.
Family and friends of those who have proudly served in
the US Military are invited to take part in a historical
moment of time by investing in a 4” x 8” Memorial Paver
which will be permanently set into the pentagon shaped
military ceremonial ground and will forever display
their loved ones name. This is a once in a lifetime
opportunity for anyone who has a long lineage of
military family members to honor their generations of
heroes all in one area.
Presidential Pavers
The memorial’s preamble stage will include a blend of
24” x 24” Presidential Pavers prominently displaying the
names of each United States President and their famous
quotes. Organizations and families will have the
opportunity to demonstrate their support by sponsoring a
Presidential Paver. Requests for select presidents will
be honored upon availability only. The sponsors name
will be prominently displayed on each paver and the cost
is $500.
Flag Burning Vault
The Formal Flag Burning Vault denotes the All
Veterans Memorial as the second of its kind in the
nation. The concept originated from 14 yr old Life Scout
Eric Wood of Mount Olive, NJ, when he learned that 25
American Flags remained in an old municipal building
that was scheduled to be demolished, only to later learn
there was nowhere in his town to properly retire them.
With the help of Chip Cochran of Cochran Funeral Home
located in Hackettstown, New Jersey, Eric designed a
custom concrete vault with a stainless steel grid inside
to ensure proper air circulation while retiring the
American flag as his Eagle Scout Community Project. Upon
the closing of each ceremony, the grommets will be
collected and the vault will remain sealed so the ashes
will remain undisturbed. The vault will be accessible to
any group or organization throughout the State of New
Jersey who wishes to host a formal flag retirement
ceremony.
Historic Monument
Currently located on State Road 46, Mount Olive’s
historical granite monument will be relocated to center
courtyard in honor of all those who have fallen.
New Jersey American Legions
198 American Legions throughout New Jersey have been
invited to demonstrate their unwavering patriotism and
unity by taking part in an exclusive American Legion
Flag Retirement Ceremonial Ground adjoined to the formal
flag burning vault. Participation will be a testament to
the eternal bond among all service men/women and costs
$25.
Service Flags

The All Veterans Memorial pays homage to our five
branches of service by utilizing the pentagon design as
our memorial ground, symbolizing equality amongst
branches. While acknowledging each service equally but
independently, the service flags fly together as one.
Commemorative Benches
The Commemorative Bench selected for the All Veterans
Memorial was designed specifically for the
handicapped and those who have difficulties getting up
from lower benches. The concrete benches will line both
sides of the Presidential Preamble Stage. There
will be 13 benches denoting the original 13
colonies. Memorial
script will appear top-mid-section of the bench. Cost:
$1000.
Inaugural Flags
Custom embroidered Inaugural Flags are available by
reservation only and must be pre-ordered to stand in the
Field of Flags on behalf of you, your loved one, or your
organization during the Inaugural Ceremony set
for the Fall of 2007. After the dedication, each
numbered flag will be folded in military fashion and
delivered to their respective honoree, accompanied by a
Certificate of Authenticity and cost $72.
Memorial Vault
Cutting edge technology allows our community to preserve
our heritage within the Presidential Preamble Stage.
Memorabilia such as time capsules, original memorial
drawings, proclamations, resolutions, and correspondence
will be securely place into the vault. A unique
Commemorative War-time Scrapbook containing memorabilia
of the servicemen and women that will be memorialized
within the dedicated ceremonial ground will also be
placed into the vault.
Memorial Time Capsule
The Memorial Time Capsule is fire resistant,
environmentally secure, watertight, airtight, and
corrosion resistant. Each Capsule is laser engraved with
a serial number to keep track of the respective
beneficiaries. The Memorial Time Capsule is ideal for
townships, churches, and community organizations. After
100 years, the time capsule will be returned to the
respective beneficiary. Should the organization no
longer exist, the capsule will be returned to the
organization’s local historical society. Cost:
$179.
Commemorative Wartime Album
"A man will live as long as he is remembered."
A Commemorative Wartime Scrapbook containing wartime
memorabilia such as service photographs, postcards,
letters, and other historical keepsakes of those being
honored in the Memorial Ceremonial Ground is available
