society cherishes the act of remembrance. It is
our way of not only learning the lessons of our past,
but is also how we maintain a sense of cultural
continuity. The heritage of who we are as a people
is carried by the memorials we build.
The All Veterans Memorial seeks to advance the
long honored tradition of remembering those who
dedicated themselves to protecting our way of life, to
defending the principles upon which our liberties as
Americans stand, and to resisting all who would try to
destroy the treasure of liberty that is the birthright
not only of Americans, but of all people who love
freedom.
