The All Veterans Memorial design team
Publius Marketing is proud to present the landscape
designers and community participants who are members of the All Veterans Memorial
design team and who will be designing the Memorial and
the Memorial's Healing Garden:
The Memorial
Glenn W Pellet
The final architectural design / artist
renderings are the work of Glenn W.
Pellet, AIA. Glenn and the members of the design
team collaborated on the concept / design of the
All Veterans Memorial.
Glenn has an outstanding
reputation in the design community for expertise in
forensics consultations, expert testimony, code and
construction methods research, and feasibility studies
while being a professionally challenging and personally
satisfying place to work.
Glenn's vast experience in all major
building types and uses, and apply his experience to
building projects of all major construction types and
materials, including concrete, steel, load bearing
masonry, and wood framed structures.
Whether it's a simple tenant fit-out or a full
commercial interior facilities design, new building or
adaptive re-use of an existing structure, Glenn works
with his clients to achieve the right balance of
cost, practicality, and architectural style for each
project.
Glenn remains
directly involved in their clients' projects from
pre-design feasibility study and programming through
contract administration and post-construction
evaluation. His services are not limited to merely
producing drawings for construction permit application.
Glenn open his clients' eyes to all the possibilities that
a trained design professional has the experience and
expertise to conceptualize.
Glenn lends its expertise to architectural projects
in trouble by providing expert testimony and forensic
investigations on projects initiated by others, and
where appropriate they will provide construction
documentation and contract administration services to
building owners as necessary to bring their projects to
a successful completion.

Trend Landscaping, Inc initially began as a lawn

Mountain Top
Landscaping, headquartered in Hackettstown, New Jersey
was founded in 1994 by the Carl Peterson, current
President, and Owner. After a couple of years scaling
trees for Tree Preservations, Peterson ventured out and
initiated his own tree service company.
By 1996 he expanded his business by offering a
residential landscaping division. Over the years,
Mountain Top Landscaping has evolved into a full service
landscape construction and tree enterprise. With a
diverse staff of eighteen employees, Mountain Top

Headquartered in Flanders, New Jersey, Beaumont
Landscaping was founded by Brian Beaumont in 1996, who
is currently President/Owner. Brian Beaumont earned his
degree from County College of Morris with a major in
Landscaping Management and Design. He holds a New Jersey
State license for pesticides and is a Certified Concrete
Paver Installer. He is currently a member of the New
Jersey’s Landscape Contractors and the Snow & Ice
Management Association.
Beaumont Landscaping is a full service lawn and
landscape contractor servicing both residential and
commercial customers in the Morris, Warren and Sussex
areas. For more than 10 years, the Beaumont Landscape

The Memorial Healing Garden
The significance of this garden is to aid relaxation and
provide a focus for contemplation, which will enhance
the healing experience.
Research has proven the therapeutic benefits of gardens.
Viewing natural scenes fosters stress recovery by
evoking positive feelings, effectively enhancing
reflection, while reducing grief & stressful thoughts.
Results based on research thus far indicate the healing
effects of natural elements such as gardens make people
feel at peace, less stressed, and even invigorated.
The hardscape design will include a circular walkway
around the gazebo, symbolizing the circle of life.
Periodic spiritual phrases will provoke hope &
encouragement. The natural landscape will consists of
several forms seasonal textures, smells and colors to
provide sensory stimulation. Lastly, the healing garden
will provide a designated serene area of manicured lawn
and ample seating for our visitors.
Designing an effectual healing garden is no easy task.
Every facet of the design is essential to achieve the
balance that is required. Though a lofty goal, we are
proud to introduce two of North Jersey’s “Healing Garden
Specialists” to our team.

Art James

ArtScapes Landscape Design is a full service landscaping
company operating in northwest New Jersey, fulfilling
client’s needs for landscape design, installation, and
property management. Our staff consists of the
owner/operator, Art James and his son, Adam. Together,
they have over 40 years experience in the landscape
industry.
Art James is a Certified Nursery and Landscape
Professional (CNLP) with an Associates degree in
landscape design and maintenance. He is currently the
President of the New Jersey Nursery & Landscape
Association (NJNLA), which is a statewide 480-member
organization that promotes education, professionalism
and implementation of proper horticultural practices and
techniques as well as ethical business practice. He is
on the advisory board for the County College of Morris
Horticultural Technologies program. His background
ranges from park systems maintenance to coordinating
full-scale landscape services to local area hospital and
commercial properties; including a large retirement
community. Art has spent the last several years’
concentrating on residential & commercial landscape
design and installation.
Adam James has a Bachelor’s degree in landscape design
and maintenance and has recently completed his CNLP
certification. He has built his experience in the
landscape industry while working through high school and
college and, since his graduation, has joined with his
father in the business of beautifying the area.
In addition to the typical landscape services offered,
ArtScapes specializes in Zen, healing, theme & color gardens,
ponds, & water gardens, walls, walkways & patios. Both
Art & Adam are experienced in designing Xeriscapes (low
water use planting) & deer resistant landscape, both of
which are of particular interest to this area.
ArtScape’s Landscape Design welcomes the opportunity to
create new designs or to build on existing gardens. Our
philosophy is that a landscape / garden is continually
changing and can always be added to or enhanced thereby
establishing long term relationship with our clients.
